2026 is turning out to be a terrible start for Pakistani internet
2026 is turning out to be a terrible start for Pakistani internet, now that it has been over 48 hours since the nationwide internet service has been degraded.
This confirmation once again comes from Nayatel’s official X account, one of the biggest ISPs in Pakistan.
The tweet confirms that users of Nayatel around Pakistan are still facing the same upload speed issues that started over 2 days ago. Since Nayatel gets it fiber backbone from Transworld, which is the main backbone provider for many internet services in Pakistan, many others are affected as well.
We at ProPakistani just tested and confirmed that PTCL users, Zong users, Ufone users, and many others are also affected significantly by this issue.
There is no current timeline for when this issue will be fixed. We will have to wait on official statements from the likes of Nayatel, PTCL, and other major ISPs.
